Following the Tournament, ESPN broadcaster Kevin Calabro, along with honorary chair, Lenny Wilkens, will help us celebrate the distinguished soccer coaching career of Cliff McCrath (Uncle Nubby!) and welcome Sounders FC coach Sigi Schmid to Seattle.
Our upcoming golf tournament is just one of many fundraising ventures to assist Sounders FC and Soccer Saves with a landmark effort designed to enhance Save the Children’s work with African youth. Save the Children is the leading independent organization working in Africa (and 87 other countries) to create “lasting change for children in need.”
Sounders FC and Soccer Saves, the humanitarian arm of Northwest Soccer Fund—directed by Cliff McCrath—have joined together with Save the Children to create opportunities for the world’s youth to live safe, healthy and fulfilling lives.
