Inaugural 3 v 3 Soccer Tournament
Join us for the first ever Soccer Saves 3v3 soccer tournament. The tournament is on Sunday, June 3rd. Boys & girls ages U10-U15 are encouraged to put a team of friends together and to come out and play. All proceeds raised from the tournament will go towards our goal of funding the first ‘pea gravel’ soccer field in Africa adorned with a cement-block community center clubhouse (CCC) where kids and coaches can gather and to play and hear about healthy lifestyles. Statistics are staggering; showing 7000 new HIV infections PER DAY among the 15-24 year olds in Sub-Saharan Africa. Education is the key to ending this epidemic, and soccer opens the door for a healthier lifestyle. This tournament will fill up quickly, register early. - Registration will close May 15th.

In
May 2009, Soccer Saves and our partner, Save the Children, began a pilot
program in Ethiopia working with coaches from the Ginchi and Adama region. The
goal of the training was to provide the coaches with the tools so that they
can be better soccer coaches while passing on the very important healthy
lifestyles messaging to their players. Click
