the world. We are a member of the International Save the Children Alliance,
comprising 27 national Save the Children organizations working in more
than 120 countries to ensure the well-being of children.
The history of Save the Children is a story of positive change and people—millions of people in thousands of communities worldwide—working together
to create opportunities that transform the lives and futures of children
across the globe.
Seattle Sounders FC (www.soundersfc.com)
Seattle Sounders FC stands for Passion, Community, Courage and Excellence.
In March 2009, Sounders FC launched its inaugural season as the 15th team
in Major League Soccer.
Sounders FC community efforts include support for Save the Children, Washington State Youth Soccer, Boys and Girls Clubs and Seattle Scores.
The ownership group is led by movie producer Joe Roth (former head of Disney and Fox Studios) and includes Paul Allen, Drew Carey and Adrian Hanauer.
